Nice staff. You can actually talk to human beings...
Very friendly and helpful staff. All willing to do everything they can to help, above and beyond the standard.

I had to pay a cheque into German Shepherd Rescue Elite (we obviously rescue German Shepherd dogs that have fallen on bad times though no fault of their own). I was going to pay it in to the Exeter city branch, which is a bit of a hassle having to go into town, but a quick check on the internet showed there was a branch in Marsh Barton. I found that I can park right outside a couple of steps and I'm in the bank, but even better, I didn't have to mess around with one of those self service machines, I could give the lovely cashier the cheque and the paying in details, job done. Thank you :)

Only bank I know with a pay in change machine, great for emptying the piggy bank. Have closed a lot of local branches though

With little difference between products in this highly regulated financial sector - service is everything!

Transferred in 2016 after 40-plus years with the spivs at Barclays and have no regrets except that I stayed with Barclays for so long. This branch of Nationwide is excellent, the staff are courteous and knowledgeable, and the bank seems to be efficient, honest and well-run.
Welcoming and helpful staff.

Never had an issue personally, and have always been treated well whenever i have visited. offices appear clean and inviting and well staffed. I do have a few comments, 1) i agree with another poster on the comment made about the students - there is not enough social housing and too much is being given to students instead so the balance is not quite right in my opinion - especially when historic Exeter buildings are being pulled down to develop new buildings - i am all for growth but the residents of Exeter deserve a slice of the cake 2) i am not a fan of the automated phone service as sometimes you can end up anywhere and 3) the disabled parking is lacking - there is space for two cars but any spare space available is marked off in white lines with just the one space in the middle which seems silly. Considering what ECC have to work with i feel that they overall do a good job, and i enjoy living in Exeter.
Need to sort out their local housing priorities and stop building student accommodation everywhere in the centre. Apart from that, good
Oakwood House, Exton Rd, Exeter EX2 8NR, UK – 01392 277888
Health and safety awareness , polite and knowledgeable, helpfull and more than capable to keep up with demands in industry
Certainly better now than ten years ago, staff are more helpful yet under more pressure in this PC and H&S society, the arrangement of waste types is good, sometimes have to ask where to put something and once I wasn't able to drop my waste (domestic) when the bin men missed my house one week. [ had to find alternative method]

I find it hilarious that people go on here to complain about local government. 5/5.

Firstly, these guys saved my bacon today THANK YOU, without their speed and great customer care my new year would have been miserable. I called for an emergency appt and I would like to thank the receptionist for her understanding - I had been working abroad for 4.5 years so lost my NHS registration with the practise - she fixed that for me, called me back within an hour - thank you to the Practise Manager for allowing me to re-register after considerable time out, and Thank you to Aga the delightful dentist and her lovely dental nurse who were very kind and understanding of my dental phobia and treated me with up-most courtesy and gentleness. I cannot rate this dental practise high enough for all their help and care. Anyone who is nervous and needs to be put at ease register with these guys, trust me I had to go through most departments today and ALL were FIRST CLASS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
wonderful memories of childhood trips to the sea

Definitely recommend! If you hate the dentists then give this place a go. Painless, professional and actually quite a pleasant experience. From the moment of entering you are welcomed and treated very respectfully. The staff are all delightful and incredibly professional. The centre is clean and really nicely designed. I travel all the way to Exeter from London for appointments as they really are the best dentists I have encountered.
I had my first visit to the Exeter Dental Centre today. From the moment I stepped in the welcome was lovely. My appointment was to see Lucy the hygienist. Both Lucy and the nurse put me at ease immediately, the treatment was explained at every stage, Lucy showed me the correct way to maintain my oral health in till my next visit. My mouth felt so amazing i resisted the fabulous cakes in reception in aid of McMillan charity! (took a couple of slices home instead)!!

Friendly and helpful receptionists, and dental staff. Really positive experience at recent appointment with Jonathan (Hygienist?) and dental nurse Jodie (?) - both were so lovely, friendly, and made the whole visit (and my teeth) feel lovely! Thanks so much!
We were seen on Saturday morning, which is a very convenient time for us. All the staff were excellent, laying out very clearly the costs and benefits of different packages, and the dentist was excellent in her care. Really impressed.

Southlawn Medical Practice has provided a professional, confidential, efficient service for me since 2005, with genuine sensative and kind GP's. I am pleased to say that it is the best Medical Practice that I have ever been registered with, and as a 'healthcarer' myself I can TRUST my GP's implicatly with my 'health' needs, and my secure: personal and private information. I am infact planning to move house in the near future and will endeavour to move within the 'Practice' catchment area, as I sincerely beleive that to change now: would jeopardize my health and sanity.

This recycling centre is an example to all other centres . Not only is it clean and tidy but the staff are so helpful and pleasant. What a difference from Exmouth! I think they should retrain at Pinbrook. Many thanks.
Visited here for the first time today. I was told that the staff here are a lot friendlier than the other one in Marsh Barron, which is very true! They are very friendly and helpful!

Ruby diner is a nice place to eat but when my family and I went on a Thursday it was quite busy and we waited a long time before our food came, also upon ordering our burgers the waiter said "we serve our burgers medium, is that alright?" We all said yes as we didn't want to make a fuss but food hygiene regulations state that because burgers are made of mince there is more chance of contamination as the meat has more surface area for bacteria to have accessed. When the burgers came they where still a little pink on the inside but cooked just enough to be acceptable, the sauce and the cheese and the rest of the burger was very tasty. Chips where average and the salad looked a bit wilted. Overall there was good points and bad points, I hope when I next return they will have stopped asking how burgers should be cooked and told the kitchen to speed it up a bit.
Let us film in there once. I liked the bloke. Good guy. Nice burgers.

Excellent nursery. My two year old daughter has been attending since January and she absolutely loves it. The staff are wonderful and the environment is nurturing. I shall recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery in Exeter.

The best school ever! I am so glad i found this school for both my children - small and friendly - exceptional teaching staff - children's well being always put first. Simply superb.
My 3 children attend St Wilfrid's School in Exeter and they love it. The school is small, and friendly and has a family-run feel to it. The small class sizes are fantastic as it means that my children get individual attention from their teachers and they are able to develop at their own rate. All the pupils know one another and the teachers are friendly and approachable. I could not recommend this school highly enough.
Victoria Park Rd, Exeter EX2 4NU, UK – 01392 494919
An amazing independent school whose motto is Pride and Perseverance and that every child is special! A quote from their website:- Where we build the curriculum, extra curricula activities and pastoral care around YOUR child. Every child is different and our educational experience reflects that. Can't recommend highly enough
